Incident on Feb 20th affected some contracts

We would like to inform users about billing issues that arose due to an update on February 20, 2025. The following issues were identified:


  • Next Billing Date Mismatch: Some subscription contracts were charged on the incorrect date instead of the expected future billing date.
  • Duplicate Billings: A select group of merchants experienced duplicate billing attempts on February 20, resulting in customers being charged twice for the same contract.

Impact Overview:

  • Total stores affected: 60
  • Total contracts affected: 159

Resolution Steps:

  • Affected merchants have been notified via email, which includes details of the impacted contracts and the discrepancies in billing dates.
  • Merchants are encouraged to review the email for a list of affected contracts and any necessary adjustments to billing dates.
  • For those experiencing duplicate billing issues, it is recommended that merchants cancel one of the duplicate orders through their admin panel to prevent double charges.

We assure all affected users that the issue has been fully resolved and measures have been implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Automatic Export function

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new automatic export function in the settings. Key updates include:


  • Introduction of an export feature that allows users to easily generate data exports.
  • An accompanying article detailing the available exports and the columns included in each export will be published shortly.
  • The export button on the Contracts tab is currently not linked to the settings tab but will be integrated in a future update.
  • Users will be guided to the settings tab for export functionality until the integration is complete.

Widget block update Jan2025

  • An update has been implemented in the widget block settings within the theme.
  • This update may impact the display of widgets in stores.
  • It is important to verify the presence of the widget block, as some themes may default to a "default product" selection, which can be altered by merchants.
  • Merchants should be consulted to ensure the block is correctly configured and visible.

Proactive Macros Updated

The proactive messaging macros have been updated to enhance customer engagement. The following changes have been implemented:


  • First Response Macro: A new message has been introduced to congratulate users on creating their first rule, with a prompt to check their panel for proper setup.

  • Widget Confirmation Macro: An updated message confirms that the subscription plan has been checked, the widget has been added to the product page, and it matches the store's design. Users are prompted to request any customizations for their widget at no additional cost.

  • App Embed Activation Reminder: A reminder has been added for users to ensure that the App Embed feature is enabled on their theme, with updated navigation instructions provided.

These enhancements aim to improve user experience and streamline communication.

Subi Non-5 Star Reviews

The Non-5 Star Review Engagement Process has been updated to enhance user participation in improving overall ratings. Key details include:


  • There are currently 39 non-5 star reviews categorized as follows:
  • 25 reviews with a rating of 4 stars
  • 3 reviews with a rating of 3 stars
  • 6 reviews with a rating of 2 stars
  • 5 reviews with a rating of 1 star

  • Out of these, 20 users still have the application installed, representing a significant opportunity to convert these reviews into 5-star ratings.

  • A segment has been created in the communication platform to facilitate interactions with these users. Guidance will be provided to assist in potentially converting their reviews to a higher rating.

  • Incentives are available for successfully converting non-5 star reviews to positive ratings, with rewards structured as follows:
  • 1-star review conversion: $400
  • 2-star review conversion: $300
  • 3-star review conversion: $200
  • 4-star review conversion: $100

  • A detailed document outlining the process and insights is available for reference.

  • Participants are encouraged to take action on reviews by assigning themselves to a review and updating their progress accordingly. There is a limit on the number of reviews that can be managed simultaneously, and further assignments will be determined based on previous performance.

Membership launch

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Membership Program for a select group of new users. Key features of this release include:


  • Random activation of the Membership Program for eligible users.
  • A support flow will be established to facilitate user inquiries regarding the Membership Program.
  • Initial communication will request feedback from users about the Membership Program.
  • Tickets will be automatically opened for users who respond, while those who do not will be closed automatically.
  • All articles related to the new Membership Plan will include the term "beta" in their titles.
  • An article will be sent to users as part of the initial communication regarding the Membership Program.
  • Users who create a Membership Plan will be tagged with "subi-membership" for easy identification in future inquiries.

A small release will occur within the next hour, after which the Membership Program will be activated.
