Add Widget Customization Link to Subscription Box Plan Page

The Subscription Box Plan admin page has been updated with the following enhancements:

  • Added a link for specific widget customization requests, directing users to contact support.
  • Introduced a link to preview how the widget appears live on the Box as a Product page.
  • Merchants can now request widget customizations, including the ability to hide elements using CSS selectors in the price wrapper field. Multiple selectors can be entered, separated by commas.
  • Dynamic bundle names can be utilized in the Subscribe/One-Time wording by adding {bundle_name}, which will automatically be replaced with the corresponding bundle title (e.g., Subscribe to Skincare Box).

These updates aim to streamline the customization process for users.

New Feature (Front - 3.23.0 Release): Page Exclusive Access in Membrship

We are pleased to announce the addition of the Page Exclusive Access feature in the Membership release version 3.23.0. This feature allows users to grant exclusive access to various pages.


  • Users can now manage exclusive access directly through the application.
  • The previous method for creating exclusive access has been removed from the help center to streamline the process.

🎯 New Feature (SDK-4.2.0 Release): Bundle Name Template Variable in Fixed Bundle Widget

What's New: The Fixed Bundle widget now includes a customizable subscription section title that accepts the {bundle_name} variable.


Key Features:

  • Dynamic Replacement: The {bundle_name} variable will be replaced with the title of the bundle's product.

Usage Areas: 1. App Block - Implemented in the Fixed Bundle Widget. 2. Theme Editing - Utilized through template tags.


Implementation Examples:

  • App Block: After integrating the Fixed Bundle Widget into the product page, the {bundle_name} variable can be used in the subscription section customization.

  • Theme Editing (for older themes):

```html Subscribe & Save on {bundle_name} ```


Supported Variables:

  • Currently supports fb_sub_save.
  • Compatible with multiple languages.

Customer Benefit: Merchants can now create dynamic and personalized subscription text that automatically incorporates their bundle names.

🚀 New Feature (Backend-3.22.1 Release): New Fixed Bundle Plan Notifications for Support

We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.22.1, which introduces a new notification system for fixed bundle plans.


What's New:

  • Fixed Bundle Plan Notifications: Users will now receive notifications when shops create their first fixed bundle plan. This feature follows the same notification pattern as membership plans.
  • This enhancement allows for proactive engagement with merchants who are beginning to utilize fixed bundle plans.

Benefits:

  • Improved visibility into shops exploring new monetization features.
  • Enhanced opportunity to provide timely guidance and support during the setup process.
  • Consistent notification experience across all plan types.

Technical Details:

  • Notifications are delivered via the notification system and can be configured as needed.
  • Notifications are triggered only upon the creation of the first fixed bundle plan per shop, ensuring no duplicate alerts.
  • A new tracking attribute, Subify Fixed Bundle Created, has been added to monitor notification delivery status for each shop.

No action is required from users; the system will operate automatically.

Review 1 Potential Cases – Updated Guidelines

  • In response to feedback regarding customer interactions and reviews rated below five stars, the process for managing customers with potential one-star reviews has been updated.
  • A key change includes the implementation of a pause feature for interactions with dissatisfied customers.
  • The pause feature is activated by adding the tag "Subi - Review 1 POTENTIAL" to the Company Tags in the system, which will temporarily halt engagement with the customer.
  • Comprehensive documentation outlining the reporting process for potential one-star reviews has been created for reference.

do not accept exports request

  • Export requests for specific data will not be accepted.
  • All subscription and contract information is available in the settings under the export tab.
  • Merchants requiring specific reports should utilize the available exports that contain the necessary data and perform their own data joining or filtering.
  • Detailed information regarding the data included in each export is provided in the corresponding documentation. It is recommended that merchants review this documentation for clarity on available data.

It is most likely that TODAY we release "The Fixed Bundles Subscription Plan" feature.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Fixed Bundles Subscription Plan feature. This new functionality includes the following:


  • Introduction of a subscription plan that allows users to purchase fixed bundles.
  • Enhanced user experience with the Fixed Bundle Widget displayed on product pages.
  • Comprehensive overview of how "Bundle as a Product" operates within the platform.

Important Notes:

  • This feature will be initially enabled for a select group of new users.
  • In case of any issues with the membership or Subscribe & Save widget after creating a Fixed Bundle Subscription Plan, users can revert the SDK version in the settings.

Incident on Feb 20th affected some contracts

We would like to inform users about billing issues that arose due to an update on February 20, 2025. The following issues were identified:


  • Next Billing Date Mismatch: Some subscription contracts were charged on the incorrect date instead of the expected future billing date.
  • Duplicate Billings: A select group of merchants experienced duplicate billing attempts on February 20, resulting in customers being charged twice for the same contract.

Impact Overview:

  • Total stores affected: 60
  • Total contracts affected: 159

Resolution Steps:

  • Affected merchants have been notified via email, which includes details of the impacted contracts and the discrepancies in billing dates.
  • Merchants are encouraged to review the email for a list of affected contracts and any necessary adjustments to billing dates.
  • For those experiencing duplicate billing issues, it is recommended that merchants cancel one of the duplicate orders through their admin panel to prevent double charges.

We assure all affected users that the issue has been fully resolved and measures have been implemented to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
