🚀 Bundle Virtual Product Initial Price What Changed: The pricing behavior for bundle virtual products has been updated. Previously, these products displayed $0 as their price under certain conditions, such as when the widget did not load or on collection pages. The initial price now reflects the accumulated price of all items (calculated as the sum of quantity multiplied by item price). Impact:

  • No action is required from merchants; this is an automatic improvement.

Versions:

  • Backend v3.57.0

Small Release: Bundle Widget Pricing Display Enhancements

What's New:

For bundles with first-billing items:

  • Cleaner Pricing Badge: The "Recurring:" label has been removed from the subscription price badge for a more streamlined appearance.
  • Enhanced Price Breakdown: Clear pricing details have been added below the widget:
  • "• First order: $360" - displays total first billing with specific product names.
  • "• Recurring orders: $180" - indicates the ongoing subscription price.
  • Removed Redundant Text: The "Total first billing: $X" text below the price badge has been eliminated.

For all bundles:

  • Simplified Badge Behavior: The subscription price badge now consistently displays the actual price, removing the "save up to $X" message when switching options.

Impact:

These changes enhance price transparency and improve user experience in fixed bundle widgets by providing clearer pricing information without visual clutter. No breaking changes; existing functionality has been preserved.

(Membership + Box)

We are pleased to announce the release of version 3.55.0, which introduces significant enhancements to the membership and bundle product functionalities.

  • Customer Resolver Feature:
  • A new feature has been added to the migration process that allows for the automatic creation of customers during migration.
  • Users can now specify a customer's email address in the migration CSV file.
  • If the customer does not already exist, the system will create a new customer using the provided email address.
  • Important notes:
  • Only the email will be added to the customer profile.
  • Other customer details, such as address, will not be included.
  • If a phone number is provided, it will be added to the customer profile.

  • Fixed Bundle Creation:
  • Merchants now have the option to create a Fixed Bundle without a Bundle Product.
  • This enhancement provides greater flexibility in the Fixed Bundle creation process, allowing merchants to choose whether to include a Bundle Product or not.

These updates aim to streamline the migration process and enhance the product bundling capabilities for merchants.
